Yes, Caffè Bertoni’s™ espresso capsules will work perfectly in all original line Nespresso™ machines. If our capsules malfunction for whatever reason, we will reimburse you for the full retail purchase price.

  • Why is Caffè Bertoni’s™ coffee better than others?

Caffè Bertoni’s™ espresso is better than others due to the fact that coffee experts carefully select coffee varieties in the world’s best coffee producing countries blending them and roasting them to perfection. This is the only way to obtain the pleasant rich aroma and velvety crema.

  • Where do Caffè Bertoni’s™ beans come from?

Caffè Bertoni’s™ beans come from some of the best coffee producing countries including Africa, Brazil, Columbia as well as India. All coffee beans are sourced via traceable and fair channels. You can easily determine the country of origin by looking at the side panel of any one of our recyclable capsule boxes.

  • How are Caffè Bertoni’s™ beans roasted?

The beans are roasted by individual varieties (i.e. the blend is not roasted together). Our master roaster experiments with different flavors and aromas in order to create the perfect mix of coffee to produce the best ESPRESSO EXPERIENCE.

  • Are all Caffè Bertoni’s™ beans roasted the same way?

Caffè Bertoni’s™ blends are not roasted the same way. Each one of our blends is roasted differently. You can easily determine the roast level by looking at the slider on the side panel of any one of our recyclable capsule boxes.

  • What is the significance of bean roast levels?

The difference between a light roast and a dark roast blend is directly related to the actual roasting temperature of the bean which can vary from approximately 188°C to 225°C.

  • What is a Light Roast level?

If a bean is lightly roasted, it will start to grow significantly from its original size. At this point, the “first crack” will appear. The lighter the roast, the lighter is the brown color of the bean. Also, this is the point where the actual taste of the coffee will be the most acidic, and it will maintain its original variety characteristics.

  • What is a Dark Roast level?

If a bean is fully roasted then it is considered a Dark Roast. At this point, it has started the second crack of the bean. At this level of roasting, the acidic characteristics found in a light roast have started to disappear. Furthermore, the color has changed from a light brown to a dark brown color with an oily surface finish. The origin of the bean has also started to fade as well.

  • What type of Roasting method does Caffè Bertoni™ use?

Caffè Bertoni™ uses a traditional slow roasting method, where the beans produce unique notes and flavors that amplify the heart of the coffee bean for an authentic ESPRESSO EXPERIENCE.
